THE REASON TO BE A WOMAN
Before I was born-I was a ray of moon-light
I painted stained-glass on miraculous sea
I sowed tiny seeds which grew mild as dreams
I doomed all the people -happy to be
Before I was born-I was a ray of sunshine
I danced bare-footed in glens with prim-roses
I woke all the swallows throughout the summer
I saw my own images in fresh dew -so closely
Before I was born-my hands made the morning
I raised up the curtains of fogs just at dawn
I turned on the Sun,I sent the Moon dozing
and all of your dreams I kept in my lawn
And then...I wished that I could love
and I was born ,a real woman I became
and when I find you I'll be light above
I'll know myself ,I will have found my aim...
